Away for a short break

Some of the Cherub's will be away for a short break.

When we come back, the stores will still be closed for a short time, whilst I catch up on some small customs and finish off some Auriels and HoneyBoy! nappies that just need finishing off. I'll have both on a regular basis after I come back. I'll have HoneyBoy! Nights again, now that my bamboo stocks are full. And I have some beautiful cuts of fabric ready to be turned into spectacular one offs.

Don't forget you only have till the 30th June, to enter the custom ballot. You can enter here We will draw after we return from our break, contact the ballot winners and delete the other entries to start all over again for the next month.

Also Gossamer Dreams again stocks on the 15th July, keep an eye out on the blog, for the next theme, and sneak peeks of what is coming - from me you'll expect to see all types of nappies and garments in this month's theme. Along with a couple of super special pieces :)

Thursday

Well my little man has recovered from a terrible bout of tonsillitis and a reaction to his Antibiotics :( So I'm slowly back into the sewing, it's been fairly thin on the ground this week. Shane being on days, means sewing time is very limited.

But I have some Munch Crunch up previewing now at OZeBaby and they will go live sometime late this afternoon or early evening. I'm trying to get some more finished and up before we head away for a few days. Nappies paid for prior to lunchtime on Saturday will be posted straight away, but after that as we have limited net access your parcels maybe slightly delayed.

Friday

My poor little man is sick :( Bad case of tonsilitis, with a raging temp. So no instocks for today - instead I'll be putting up 3 semi-custom slots for 2 Munch Crunch Nappies each - you can pick size, print, and fleece or minky outer. Let me do the rest. One is up now, the others will go live, totally randomly one at a time today. I'm sorry I can't give a time, it depends on my little man.

As I said yesterday I'm away for the weekend, any nappies paid for today, will be posted today (from the sales earlier in the week), otherwise your nappy will be posted on Monday.

Under the Weather :(

So I'm a little under the weather. So there will be no Munch Crunch listed tonight. Expect a handful more tomorrow afternoon and then Friday.

I'm away for the weekend, but I'll be stocking more again randomly through next week. I have a couple of sets and appliques to go up as well.

Nearly ready

I've had a very busy week here, but I've finally got some goodies ready for the Grand Opening of Gossamer Dreams tomorrow. I hope you all stop by for a visit. I haven't got stacks, but there are some absolutely stunning gorgeous goodies from all the other WAHMs involved, so I'm sure there will be something for everyone there. I promise to be more organised for the next stocking :)

Happy 15th Birthday Sarah

It's my 2nd daughter's 15th birthday today and everyone loves a party and pressies, so I've decided to give away a Munch Crunch ................ size 2 nappy - but you need to pay postage on the nappy. Now how do you win? You need to post a comment and guess the time that my darling girl arrived into the world. The person with the closest time wins the nappy? One guess per person. I'll be back later with the winner - I'll close the guessing at 7pm tonight. Oh and if two people guess the same time, it will be the one that guessed first.

Sarah Jane, came into this world with a smidge of red hair and curls at 5.59pm on the 11th June, weighing 7lb 8 1/2 oz and 51cm long. She arrived 3 1/2 weeks early.

Next Stocking

I've snuck a handful up on OZeBaby this morning.

But the next stocking will be on the Cherub's Kiss site tomorrow night after 7.30pm.

I have quite a bit of work on this week and will likely just do another decent sized stocking next week, rather than small ones this week.

First ANN Stocking

Hi Ladies,

The first special ANN stocking, will take place tomorrow - you will receive an email, with all the details of where you can find your special stocking. Remember you receive a 5% discount on your order, but you must quote your ANN member number to receive the discount.

The stock will be available to ANN members for 24 hours only, any stock remaining will be listed for sale to the general public after that.

The stocking has some size 1 and size 2 - all in the plain front design, 3 layers of hemp in the nappy and a snap in bamboo booster. Prices are from $28 - there are also some seconds amongst them, that are still fully functional, just a couple of cosmetic oopsies.

Would you like a custom slot?

If so, you can email in for a chance to receive one. We have a ballot open for custom slots, they will be randomly drawn the first of the month. We have 2 slots available every month. There are a couple of rules though.

1. Maximum order of 6 nappies
2. Nappies can be a mixture of HoneyBoy! or Auriel in any size. Does not include Hand-embroidered, limited edition, or hand dyed nappies. Colours/fabrics can be chosen from the selection sent to you and we do have a wide range to suit all tastes.
3. Nappies must be for your immediate family.
4. You need to reply to your offer and choose the fabrics and pay within 3 days of the offer, otherwise your place will be redrawn.
5. Customs will be completed in a two week timeframe.
6. Price will depend on quantity, size and type of nappy chosen.

I'll be randomly stocking at our OZeBaby Store Cherub's Kiss over the next few days.

The Cherub's Kiss Store is being restocked, for a larger stocking in the next couple of weeks. Mostly size 2 Auriels, but hopefully some Quick Dry HoneyBoy!s as well.

And hopefully Shane will add the links to the custom slot email ballot in the next couple of days as well.

Which turns into this divine number - this is the front - it's a teal outer windpro, with an extra layer through the wet zone. Butter Yellow Bamboo Velour on the inner. Hand embroidered with Bees, cast on stitch flowers (the pink), bullion rose (the purple) and a blue trail for the bees to fly on.

What I've been working on this week

Some of these are long overdue customs, for some very patient and wonderful customers. I thank them all for their patience and hope they like their goodies.

All the caterpillars from last weeks stocking. All have gone to their new homes.



And a red and lime minkee pair



A swing dress and matching size 1 Auriel for a baby girl yet to arrive.



And a special set for a very special lady - that always cheers me up when I am down. A reversible caterpillar pinnie with matching nappies.



The red corduroy side with a hand embroidered caterpillar.



And a denim fitted, with varigated jeans stitch thread for topstitching - I think this is actually pretty nearly my favourite nappy at the moment, it turned out more beautiful that I could have imagined. It has a red velour inner.



The cord pinnie with the fitted nappy.



And the denim side of the pinnie, with an applique of the Very Hungry Caterpillar, and some embroidery along the hemline with the jeans stitch varigated thread. It's teamed with a raspberry minky nappy. I think the ribbons are a bit too long, but the new owner can chop them off, when she tries it on her gorgeous daughter.
